Recipes

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose or whole wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 cup soy milk or almond or oat or coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil *may omit for oil free
  • 1 scoop POWER PEA

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and Power Pea. 
  • Pour the milk, water and oil into the bowl with the dry ingredients, and stir with a large spoon until just combined.
  • Heat a large griddle or pan over medium-high heat. Grease the pan with vegan butter or coconut oil, and drop about 1/3 cup of the batter onto it. Cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side, about 1-2 minutes. Repeat with all the remaining batter.
  • Serve with vegan butter, pure maple syrup and fresh fruit.

Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup frozen mango or pineapple or berries
  • 2-3 cups baby spinach or kale
  • 1 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 scoop POWER PEA

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a blender and blend untill creamy and smooth.
  • Add ice for a desirable consistency
  • Serve immediately.

For nut allergies, use pea, soy or coconut milk. Or just water! Optional add ins: a squeeze of lime/lemon juice, fresh ginger, 1/4 of an avocado.

 

 

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas (1 cup mashed)
  • 2 cup tablespoon ground flax seed
  • 5 tablespoons water
  • 1/3 cup oil or vegan butter or apple sauce
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar or brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup almond milk or pea, soy milk.
  • 2 cups all purpose flour or whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 3/4 cup non dairy chocolate chips or walnuts
  • 2 scoop POWER PEA

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350° F and grease a standard loaf pan
  • In a small bowl, combine flax seed and water and set aside to thicken. In a large bowl, mash bananas with fork until smooth. Stir the oil into the bananas
  • Now add sugar, almond milk, and flax seed and stir until well combined.
  • Add the flour, baking soda, POWER PEA, salt & nutmeg and stir gently in 1 direction.
  • Gently fold walnuts or chocolate chips and pour into the prepared pan and place in the center rack of the oven for 50 – 60 mins or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Let it cool in the pan for a few mins. Serve warm!
